A Scarce Officer's Pickelhaube Plate, C.1895 Auction POTTER) Naming is engravedIn die stamped silver, featuring a left facing crowned imperial eagle with banner spanning wingspan with the inscription Mit Gott fr Koenig und Vaterland With God for King and Country, a separately affixed central star burst presenting a gilt and iconic symbol of Lippe Detmold, measuring 17. 4 cm from wingtip to wingtip, pleasing patina, extremely fine.
