Vintage 19th Century Brass Bound Burl Walnut Writing Slope Wall Pockets Each vase is hand paintedThis 1860s brass bound burl walnut writing slope exemplifies campaign era craftsmanship. The exterior is veneered in richly figured burl walnut and the interior opens to a compact gilt trimmed leather desk fitted with an ink well and dedicated storage for writing implements and papers.
