Perkamentvel 20x30 cm Geldbuidels The middle of the domeParchment was already used from the classical antiquity onwards. This parchment is made of sheepskin that was traditionally treated and processed. Making parchment was an expensive and complicated process. This is why it was only used for luxurious and important writings. Making a medieval psalter took sometimes more than 250 sheeps or cows and cost many years work. This parchment is completely handmade and measures 20 x 30 cm.
