It is embroidered allover with a very Edwardian motif of delicate sprays, with eyelets and a scalloped hem. It closes in the side using several snaps. The woven fabric has a natural sheerness to it; it is pictured with nothing underneath, but it could be layered with a slip for less sheerness.
